Earlier today, the Centennial Conference -- which competes at the Division III level -- announced that they have suspends all sports for the upcoming fall semester.
The Centennial Conference is home to a few of the NCAA's top D3 distance programs in both cross country and track such as Haverford College, Dickinson and Johns Hopkins. The decision to suspend fall sports in the Centennial Conference follows a pair of announcements (also from today) where the Liberty League announced plans to return to competition while MIT opted to cancel fall sports.
It should be noted that sports in the conference are only "suspended" not necessarily "cancelled". The conference noted that they will reevaluate their decision "by the end of September".
